THE ROLE

This role is rostered across Monday to Friday with varying shift times. By applying, you’re confirming your availability to work across these days.

At JD Sports, we pride ourselves on operational excellence. As an Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the store. From inventory management and compliance and loss prevention, you’ll keep everything on track to maximise productivity and deliver the best customer experience.

You’ll work alongside the Store and Assistant Store Manager to lead and coach the team, making sure processes are followed, deadlines are met, and high standards are maintained across both front and back of house.

You will also be responsible, but not limited to the following:

• Oversee deliveries, replenishment, and stock movement to achieve efficiency targets
• Support with rostering, timesheets, and productivity management
• Ensure compliance across cash handling, financial processes, and company policies
• Drive profit protection through training, audits, and proactive loss prevention measures
• Maintain high operational standards across stockrooms, store presentation, and cleanliness
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding, training, and ongoing feedback
• Promote a safe, compliant, and positive working environment at all times

WHO YOU ARE

• Experience in an admin or operations support role
• Inventory management or stock handling experience preferred
• Critical thinking and solutions focused
• Organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail

• Ability to work toward tight deadlines in a timely manner, without compromising on output
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word etc.
• Flexible to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
