WORKING AS A SEASONAL WAREHOUSE STOREPERSON

Our Distribution Centre is the heartbeat of our business! Keeping stores stocked, online orders moving, and products delivered on time. And now, we’re looking for Seasonal Warehouse Storeperson to help us run the warehouse efficiently, safely, and accurately during our peak season in our brand new automated Warehouse based in Leppington.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT JD:

As a Seasonal Warehouse Storeperson, you will play a key role in our Warehouse operations, making sure stock is received, processed, and dispatched quickly, accurately, and safely. Your work ensures our stores, online customers, store teams, and the wider Distribution Centre team all have what they need during our busiest time of year!

Our Seasonal Warehouse Storeperson's work on fixed contracts starting from mid-October to mid-January, with the chance to secure a permanent role based on performance. You will also be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Pick, pack, label, and check orders for dispatch
• Accurately receipt, check, and put away stock
• Assist with pricing and ticketing products
• Support stocktake's with accuracy and efficiency
• Unpack and hang styles for stores
• Assist with online store orders – picking, packing, and dispatching
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Perform ad-hoc duties as needed
• Always follow Work Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Identify hazards and risks, taking action to fix, remove, or report them
• Comply with legislative requirements and company safety systems

Shift Options Include:

• Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm – start early, finish early!
• Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–10:30pm – perfect for those who like a later start!

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

• Minimum 1–2 years’ warehouse or similar experience in a retail environment
• Experience managing high-volume inventory
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of stock processes and workflows
• Physically able to lift and move stock weighing up to 15kg
• Full-time availability from mid-October to February
• Forklift license is an advantage
